Refund Policy - The Basics

Livestock-

We offer a 48-hour guarantee on livestock from the purchase date (excluding items marked "no warranty"). For any issues within this period, please return the livestock and provide a separate water sample for testing. If your water parameters are suitable, we will gladly offer a replacement or store credit.

Please note, our guarantee does not cover losses due to aggression from existing tank mates or poor water quality in your aquarium.

Retail Dry Goods Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your dry goods purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer the following refund options:

  • In-Store Credit: You may return dry goods within 14 days of purchase for full in-store credit.

  • Credit Card Refund: You may return dry goods within 14 days of purchase for a refund to the original credit card used. Please note that a 7% restocking fee will be applied to all credit card refunds. This fee covers transaction and processing costs.

Conditions for Returns:

  • Items must be returned in their original, unopened, and undamaged packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or DNA Account with purchase history) is required for all returns.

How to Return:

  • Please bring the item(s) and your proof of purchase to our store during our regular business hours.

  • Our staff will inspect the item(s) and process your return according to your chosen option.

Important Notes:

  • The 7% restocking fee for credit card refunds will be deducted from the original purchase price.

  • In-store credit has no expiration date.
